The Senior Ministry’s theme for 2011 is “A Spirit of Favor”; Each member is encouraged to use the gifts that God has given him or her to serve faithfully, administering God grace. Our goal for this ministry is to take the lead in supporting the Oakland Church of Christ Leadership by being one of the most visible and viable ministries at Oakland.

An additional goal is to increase an active male membership in the ministry. All that is required for it to be successful is a commitment.

In June we had a delicious lunch at Nicola’s and in July, we enjoyed an evening of bowing. We publish a quarterly newsletter, which provides information on health, taxation, medical and legal issues, senior discounts and activities in our communities. Take time to pray about your decision to join this ministry.
